This was a tough one. I haven’t played much lately. I only drafted Kaladesh a handful of times and Aether Revolt once. This means these cards don’t resonate with me very strongly, because I haven’t experienced them very much. Another problem is that I just didn’t like Standard during this period, so its hard to have a positive emotional connection to them. While I’m writing this, this feels more like “the cards I hate the least”, but that’s a bit of an exaggeration.

My Favorite Decks from Pro Tour Amonkhet
Part of me loves the fact that Monoblack Zombies won, but part of me also hates it, because now everyone know about the deck and how good it is, so I can’t play it anymore. So, let’s dig a little deeper once again.
Amonkhet Brews, pt. 15 – Can We Still Use Saheeli?
Last weekend I played a PPTQ. I didn’t do well, but whatever. I think my deck choice was pretty good. I just wasn’t playing optimally myself. However, what I wanted to talk about was [scryfall]Saheeli Rai[/scryfall].
Tiny Leaders Deck Time – Neheb
Still haven’t played a game of this format, but who cares? Well, you as my readers might, but hopefully I can bring some insight to this.
Amonkhet Brews, pt. 14 – Jund Trials
Since the cat is out, maybe moving from white to green is better.
[MtG] Using Monetary Investment as a Reason for Not Banning
We’ve heard it plenty of times: Wizards doesn’t want to ban certain cards, because people have a lot of money invested in their decks and they don’t want to ruin that.
Well, that’s kind of absurd.
Tiny Leaders Deck Time – Hapatra
First, I have never played Tiny Leaders and I doubt I’ll ever play it enough to have any real expertise in the format, but on the other hand, I do understand quite a bit about the game, so I can at least brew, even if I don’t really know the meta. This is my first attempt at a deck.
Amonkhet Brews, pt. 13 – Mardu Trials
Apparently I’m not the only one who feels like Cartouche is a dirty word.
Amonkhet Brews, pt. 12 – Faith of the Devoted
A less talked about card, [scryfall]Faith of the Devoted[/scryfall] could be the key card in a deck much like the more popular brewing target [scryfall]Drake Haven[/scryfall], but with colors I enjoy more in Standard. Not that the pair is generally very well supported, but doesn’t mean I can’t try.
The Importance of a Good Curve
A good curve is something that is often brought up in deck design, but I don’t often see explanations for it, except maybe the reasoning that you should have something to do in each part of the game. Well, its a bit more in-depth than that.
