Still haven’t played a game of this format, but who cares? Well, you as my readers might, but hopefully I can bring some insight to this.
There aren’t actually that many playable minotaurs. Maybe a dozen, if we’re generous, and a couple of shapeshifters. Can we do that? I guess… I don’t know if its going to be good, but we can try.
… and the Shapeshifters:
What should we do here? I’d say we destroy the opponent’s plan with discard. It has the added benefit of emptying our own hand for Neheb, but doesn’t work very well with cards like [scryfall]Taurean Mauler[/scryfall], since the opponent can’t really play that many spells. Sigh.
… and of course removal.
I wouldn’t mind a few draw cards, like [scryfall]Night’s Whisper[/scryfall] or [scryfall]Sign in Blood[/scryfall], here, but feels like certain of our discard spells can handled that.
