The reason I’m thinking about this is “Ammit Eternal”. Don’t know if that’s the real name, as it was spoiled in Japanese. The translation, via MythicSpoilers, reads like this:
Creature – Zombie Crocodile Demon
Whenever an opponent casts a spell, put a -1/-1 counter on Ammit Eternal.
Whenever Ammit Eternal deals combat damage to a player, remove all -1/-1 counters from it.
That should work well with [scryfall]Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons[/scryfall]
Just a sick, sick idea on how to abuse [scryfall]Sorin, Grim Nemesis[/scryfall] and the new Emrakul.
There are infinite stars in the sky and while there aren’t quite as many ways to use this card, its clearly more than I could ever count.
There are 114 creatures in Standard with abilities that trigger when they enter the battlefield. I’m guessing there’s going to be a way to abuse this:
For some reason, none of the cards with clan abilities are multicolored.
Well, plenty of problems here…
The cycle of three colored ascendancies are clearly meant to be built around. Although (as of this writing) Jeskai haven’t yet ascended (funnily enough), let’s begin with those.
Block Constructed is always a nice predictor of future Standard. What can we learn from Pro Tour Journey Into Nyx?
