Even if this one isn’t actually the bomb certain people want it to be, I don’t see why I couldn’t dream about using it. This could be Grixis as well, but the mana requirements might be a bit too much, although we could probably just use the cycle-duals to splash something. I’m not entirely sure what, though.

Amonkhet Brews, pt. 2 – GR Madness
Actually, not maybe quite as much Madness as simply just discarding stuff. And a red aggro deck, with a side of green.
Amonkhet Brews, pt. 1 – BR Madness
I’m back having completely missed Aether Revolt. Just couldn’t bring myself to brew than. However, now I do have some ideas. During Kaladesh I did less than usual. The whole block just didn’t feel fun for me. I guess I could sort of see where Standard was going or something.
Let’s start with two cards I’ve already found very interesting.
Kaladesh Brews, pt. 5 – BR Aggro
These days, whenever new cards become available, BR or Rakdos is where my mind goes first, pretty much everytime. Its not generally the best color combination, but admittedly The Joker’s philosophy does have a certain appeal to me in fiction, which this combination embodies in its recklessness.
My favorite card from Battle for Zendikar block was easily [scryfall]Inverter of Truth[/scryfall], no question about it. Its just so weird and hard to use. So, now that the structure of Standard has shifted and [scryfall]Eldrazi Displacer[/scryfall] isn’t as easy to use to kill you, maybe a deck built around it could work.
Kaladesh Brews, pt. 3 (sort of) – GW Angels
So, one of my favorite cards from Eldritch Moon was always [scryfall]Permeating Mass[/scryfall]. Sure, its difficult to use, but you can’t deny its powerful. Actually very powerful. The problem is that its risky. If the Mass gets going, you’ll just lose all your own creatures as well.
Unless, their somehow protected from it. For example, in my EMN Prerelease deck I had a [scryfall]Permeating Mass[/scryfall] and I played it happily, because I also had [scryfall]Voldaren Pariah[/scryfall] and two [scryfall]Ishkanah, Grafwidow[/scryfall]s, who could do damage without having to enter into combat with all that Mass.
Kaladesh Brews, pt. 2 – RW Equip
Monowhite Humans might be gone, as its going to lose quite a few of its key cards, but I think there’s room for another aggressive deck.
The actual thing that makes this possible is actually this card:
It is a “fast land” after all…
Kaladesh Brews, pt. 1 – BR Superfriends
So… about that new Chandra…
Eldritch Moon Brews, pt. 10 – Brewing with the Pariah
Well, apparently, [scryfall]Voldaren Pariah[/scryfall] is a bomb, at least based on my experience in Limited. Sure, Limited and Standard are really different worlds, but when something functions really well in Limited, you should at least test it in Standard. Remember this guy?

Eldritch Moon Brews, pt. 9 – UW Spirits
I’ve been playing Tomoharu Saito’s UR Flash deck a lot recently. I love. I also like the Dragon variant, but [scryfall]Rattlechains[/scryfall] and [scryfall]Dimensional Infiltrator[/scryfall] is where its at for me. There already was a blue-white version of this deck, which also seems powerful, but this time it gets a huge boost in a couple of very good cards (okay, one good, two I think might very well make it):
Eldritch Moon Brews, pt. 8 – Rakdos Midrange
I would love the new Liliana here, but this deck probably won’t have that many creatures…
