Amonkhet Brews, pt. 1 – BR Madness

I’m back having completely missed Aether Revolt. Just couldn’t bring myself to brew than. However, now I do have some ideas. During Kaladesh I did less than usual. The whole block just didn’t feel fun for me. I guess I could sort of see where Standard was going or something.

Let’s start with two cards I’ve already found very interesting.

As you can see, they work together. Using them both might require quite a bit of mana, but hopefully we’ll get there. Here’s some more Madness.

And some more outlets:

I guess there’s quite a few ways to go here.

Of course, in the current meta, you’ll need plenty of removal.

We do need some card draw or recursive benefits, so why not use a few planeswalkers.

We’ll have a new Liliana soon enough, but lets go with this one for now.

So, maybe something like this:

With five five-drops and seven four-drops, the curve is quite horrible, but gladly the demon can be cycled and others can be ditched to various outlets, if needed. Of course, there’s some ways to save on mana with Madness as well. Still, let’s call this a first draft. Okay?
