We are probably only in the early stages of allies. There will probably be more coming later, but this is what I would do at this point. Not many choices actually, but what can you do?

Battle for Zendikar Brews, pt. 3 – Smothering Abomination
Admittedly I’m not getting the same kind of inspiration from this set as I get from other sets, but I do have some ideas. Here’s one. [scryfall]Smother Abomination[/scryfall] is a bomb.

[scryfall]Forerunner of Slaughter[/scryfall] is probably pretty good too.
Battle for Zendikar Brews, pt. 2 – Monogreen Landfall
I don’t think [scryfall]Scythe Leopard[/scryfall] will be the next [scryfall]Steppe Lynx[/scryfall], but it does have some potential. I’m not sure about the [scryfall]Undergrowth Champion[/scryfall]. There must be some reason it was made a mythic, but I’m not sure I see it. Still, I would like to test it. The thing is, there will be a suite of removal that is popular and it is going to have to react to what is happening in the metagame. Is it going to be good? Are people going to have to rely on something to kill all the big Eldrazi, perhaps this little guy can get through. Perhaps the triggers are just valuable enough to play it anyway. After all, it can quite easily grow beyond [scryfall]Languish[/scryfall].

Battle for Zendikar Brews, pt. 1 – Jund Eldrazi
Its way too early to tell what kind of decks you can actually play in the format, but why would I let that stop me? Therefore, this little idea:
Standard Deck Time: Evolutionary Leap
[scryfall]Evolutionary Leap[/scryfall] just seems like a build-around to me, although I think it can be a good way to combat control decks by saccing the creatures they kill. Anyhow, here’s an idea:
Standard Deck Time: GW Heroic
I was watching a match on SCG, where there was a WU Heroic versus GW Megamorph. At one point, the latter put the former into a very bad position by playing a [scryfall]Boon Satyr[/scryfall] on a [scryfall]Den Protector[/scryfall] to bypass blockers on the Heroic side.
My thought: Why wouldn’t the other side use this evasion?
Magic Origins Brews, pt. 10 – The Mandatory Monoblack
Magic Origins Brews, pt. 9 – Relic Seeker
Magic Origins Brews, pt. 8 – Demonic Pact
Magic Origins Brews, pt. 7 – Ruw Burn
Not sure how you feel about this card, but after the obvious ones (“do they really need to redo the power 9”), my throughts were “this is going to be the source of so many judge calls” and “wow, burn”.
