They gave me a comic book (Woman of Tomorrow #1) and a sugarless energy drink (although it was room temperature). That’s something.
Quick review: Less than the sum of it’s parts.

Is there anything to say? At this point, either you are sold or you don’t give a shit.
Here’s an idea I would very much like to credit to the person I heard it from, but I can’t find the video on YouTube anymore. Either my search-fu is lacking or the video was removed for some reason. So, sorry about that. The video was specifically about the Harry Potter franchise, so that might help if you want to give it a try. I think the title was something like “JK Rowling Doesn’t Like Women”.
It’s that time of the year, I guess.
This movie is stupid. Not in a fun way. It’s just stupid. That would be the TL;DR: The movie is embarrassingly stupid.
I guess the first question is, can you watch this without seeing the rest of the series? Yes, but you probably shouldn’t, especially since the first eight episodes are available for free on YouTube. Also, the eighth episode is the first half of this movie, so you should skip that if you plan to see this in theaters.
Would you get what’s going on? Yes. On the other hand, you would not have the same sympathy for the characters and I think that’s kind of key here. There is a recap, but that can’t fix you not knowing and understanding the characters.
This is from a very small sample size, but I still find it interesting.
In a Washington Post article titled “Meet the queer, nonbinary, pansexual characters of ‘Borderlands 3’” (basically an ad) before the release of the game, Lor (who is deadnamed in the article as well as in the game, only getting to use his chosen name in the New Tales From the Borderlands game, which no-one has played voluntarily – which actually means that it doesn’t fulfill the definition of a game) is one of the few NPCs mentioned. He is not the first trans character in the franchise, but he is the most prominent one.
Moomin (or Muumi) are very popular in Finland. It is a Finnish creation after all, more precisely the work of Tove Jansson. On top of a museum in Tampere and some permanent exhibitions at various museums, there’s always a temporary exhibition about Jansson and/or Moomin going on somewhere.
Going back in time a little.
