Okay, I’d love to put in [scryfall]Ovalchase Daredevil[/scryfall], but the problem is that none of the vehicles I’d like to use need crew of 4, so it would be somewhat awkward to use. So, monored it is. Okay, almost. [scryfall]Unlicensed Disintegration[/scryfall] still clearly has its place in the deck.
Maybe there’s still a piece of equipment for the quite interesting lady to drive.
I think the key creature here is actually [scryfall]Pia Nalaar[/scryfall]. Its might actually subtly be the best creature in the set, although some fabricate creatures can probably do the same, but here’s the crux of it: The 1/1 can pilot [scryfall]Smuggler’s Copter[/scryfall], mother herself can pilot the [scryfall]Fleetwheel Cruiser[/scryfall] and they can both together handle [scryfall]Skysovereign, Consul Flagship[/scryfall] and there’s no power wasted.
Also, you can pilot [scryfall]Smuggler’s Copter[/scryfall] with the thopter, and the Copter can pilot the Skysovereign. Weird, huh? Still, this might come in very handy at times.
4 Inventor’s Apprentice

2 Forerunner of Slaughter

4 Smuggler’s Copter
4 Fleetwheel Cruiser
4 Skysovereign, Consul Flagship
4 Galvanic Bombardment
4 Unlicensed Disintegration
4 Foreboding Ruins
4 Smoldering Marsh
4 Evolving Wilds
While researching for this brew, I actually felt like there are cool possibilities for Standard in this set. I’m not saying this will be the right build or anything, but when looking at stuff like [scryfall]Akoum Stonewaker[/scryfall] and [scryfall]Forerunner of Slaughter[/scryfall], I just got this feeling that I might actually be onto something. The Stonewaker can pilot both of your big hitters under the right circumstances and the Runner can give the Flagship haste while piloting it alone. Seems like something that could have potential.
