Okay, finally a topic where I don’t have to qualify my opinions by mentioning that I am indeed a white straight cis man. Indeed, again, this is perhaps a topic I’m very much the right person to discuss. Except that I’m not American. Or Conservative. Or Christian. Sigh. Maybe one day.

I recently met a couple of Mormon missionaries and as I’m weird, I talked to them. As usual for religious people, they attempted to sell the idea of religion to me with promise of eternal joy at the feet of the creator. Well, there’s a problem here…

The worst thing about Borderlands 3 is that the main villain(s) feel like a side mission boss from the other games. Side missions are often small jokey things about whatever is going on in culture at large, but they are not big enough to actually be important. Like streamers.

This morning I woke up to see that Lindsay Ellis had quit producing content for good. I really don’t know how to feel about this. On one hand I’ve been following her work for at least five years, so I’m sad to see her go, but on the other hand, if she needs to protect herself from the mob, good on her for taking this step. There’s a lot. I definitely could have chosen very differently and I’m not going to justify these choices. With so many channels and so much content on each of them available, I can’t possibly go through them all or even a meaningful number of them. Still, these are the ones I’ve somehow found.
