If you haven’t heard, Condé Nast decided that in order to protect the band of Pitchfork (paraphrasing them), it has been folded into the organization of GQ. Shouldn’t someone actually look into what they own before making such decisions?
So, for some reason, I’ve been getting recommendations for videos on YouTube regarding what people want to see in BL4 at launch. This is a bit weird, because there has not been an announcement of BL4 yet. Many, myself included, assume or think that it might come out around the same time as the movie later this year, but we don’t really know.
I watched this video from Tale Foundry and it got me thinking:
I just read a book called Divorced – Beheaded – Survived: A Feminist Reinterpretation of the Wives of Henry VIII by Karen Lindsey and I have thoughts.
There’s a 90 minute video essay by CJ The X called Subjectivity In Art. At one point they have a discussion with Fantano (a well-known music YouTuber) on what is taste anyway. There’s a point there I found interesting.
I had plans for today, but I got a cramp in my leg despite imbibing plenty of liquids, so I returned to the AirBnB to nurse it, which lead to me writing this, because I wasn’t able to walk very much. Therefore, here I am, lying in bed, writing this. And don’t worry, the cramp does have a very strained connection to what I’m writing about here.

Really. Ten Years. I’m actually not even that surprised. I’ve always liked writing, so it was just natural that this would last.
Same caveats as in my first post with this theme. Most importantly, the weird title is not about making fun of Pride, but rather of me and general performative wokeness by corporations and/or individuals.
While the movie is still under post-production having been shot last year, and weirdly does not have a release date, I don’t think it will be as explicitly queer as the games. Oh boy, are they liberated in this sense.
So, let’s start with the RPG witchhunt of mid-1990s in Finland…
