(Being a nerd, I obviously scheduled this to be posted at the exact same minute as the first article on this blog.)
Really. Ten Years. I’m actually not even that surprised. I’ve always liked writing, so it was just natural that this would last.

Same caveats as in my first post with this theme. Most importantly, the weird title is not about making fun of Pride, but rather of me and general performative wokeness by corporations and/or individuals.
While the movie is still under post-production having been shot last year, and weirdly does not have a release date, I don’t think it will be as explicitly queer as the games. Oh boy, are they liberated in this sense.
So, let’s start with the RPG witchhunt of mid-1990s in Finland…
How can a game be so horrible and contrived, while I still want to 100% it?
Note: I have never played the original game, so I am not saying anything about that.
Feel free to have your own opinion, but this is how I see it. The biggest question for me personally is which of the two main games is the better one. They both have their strengths.
Warning: I expect you to have played the games here. I’m not explaining various things here. I just assume you know what I’m talking about, when I mention names, places, mechanics and so forth.
This is very, very random even for this blog, but here we go. Here’s a hypothesis: When we reach singluarity in AI, it won’t be the Ai becomeing smarter and smarter, its us becoming stupider and stupider until the AI, which can mimic a mediocre human just happens to be smarter. I’m not saying Idiocracy. This is something completely different instead.

Weird history rules. Well, here and everywhere else as well. One of the easiest things to make your world feel lived-in and unique is to just take a piece of obscure history and place it in your world, whether its an invention or an actual event or garment or hairstyle. I just find all of this very interesting and it just happens to coincide nicely with RPG hobby.
Okay, the world is shit, again. Who thought that it could get worse after the last two years? Yes, here we are and while there are signs that something might be changing, it would also seem that we, as a global society, have to go through more rough times before its going to get better. With that in mind, a little mental health break here at the end of 2022.
Why do they need to be so highly obsfuscated?
