While there are humorous components to all of the seven movies in the Child’s Play series, these are the only two which feel like comedy horror movies.

Aki Vs. Evil: Shaun of the Dead
What can I say that hasn’t been said before?
Aki Vs. Evil: The Loved Ones
Is this even a horror comedy? I guess we’ll find out.
Aki Vs. Evil: Little Otik (Otesánek)
With little financial pressures during the communist rule, it would seem that Eastern European countries still have a tradition of moviemaking, where there’s a certain amount of creative freedom, which is much harder to find in Western movies.
Aki Vs. Evil: Tokyo Gore Police (Tôkyô zankoku keisatsu)
Ah, yes. Police brutality as a source of jokes.
Aki Vs. Evil: Braindead and a bit on Bad Taste
Yes, the early films of Peter Jackson, although I just learned that he did Meet the Feebles in between these two. Huh, I always thought it was his third film.
Aki Vs. Evil: The Greasy Strangler
I don’t think I’ve seen small penis prosthetics in any other movie. That’s something.
Aki Vs. Evil: Gremlins (and little bit on the sequel)
Just found out that there’s actually a Gremlins series now.
Tells the story of how 10-year-old Sam Wing met the young Mogwai called Gizmo. Along with a teenage street thief named Elle, Sam and Gizmo take a perilous journey through the Chinese countryside, encountering, and sometimes battling, colorful monsters and spirits from Chinese folklore. On their quest to return Gizmo to his family and uncover a legendary treasure, they are pursued by a power-hungry industrialist and his growing army of evil Gremlins.
What the fu…? I’ll just stick with the movies, thank you.
Aki Vs. Evil: Witching & Bitching (Las brujas de Zugarramurdi)
This is one of those cases, where the movie is originally in Spanish and the DVD version I have is the German release, with optional Dutch subtitles. I don’t speak any of these languages, but I do know enough of each language that I can get by on context clues. I still do find it funny that a cell phone is ‘Handy’ in German.
Aki Vs. Evil: Grabbers
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this, but I found a compelling reason in Ryan Hollinger’s point of view.
