Ixalan Brews, pt. 11 – UB Trinkets

There’s these two:

[draft]Mechanized Production
Revel in Riches[/draft]

Unlike [card]Approach of the Second Sun[/card], we might actually have fun with these. Maybe.

What else can we use here? There’s plenty of artifact synergies in Kaladesh and Ixalan. Let’s look at a few:

[draft]Battle at the Bridge
Contraband Kingpin
Deadeye Plunderers
Depths of Desire
Era of Innovation
Herald of Anguish
Marionette Master
Ovalchase Daredevil
Reverse Engineer
Sailor of Means
Shrewd Negotiation
Spell Swindle
Tezzeret the Schemer
Tezzeret, Master of Metal
Treasure Map
Underhanded Designs[/draft]

Soooo many possibilities, none of which are generally considered Standard playable. I guess one approach we could take would be to make a deck with so many different ways of winning, it’s hard to know the angle we’ll be taking. On the other hand, attacking our opponents life total while trying to amass enough artifacts might be counterproductive, so perhaps the right way to go would be to have one of these plans in the sideboard. Maybe soemthing like this:

[deck]
[creatures]
4 Contraband Kingpin
4 Sailor of Means
[/creatures]
[spells]
4 Fatal Push
4 Depths of Desire
4 Battle at the Bridge
4 Treasure Map
[/spells]
[creature package]
2 Deadeye Plunderers
4 Marionette Master
3 Tezzeret, the Schemer
1 Shrewd Negotiation
2 Underhanded Design
[/creature package]
[enchantment package]
4 Mechanized Production
4 Revel in Riches
4 Spell Swindle
[/enchantment package]
[lands]
4 Fetid Pools
4 Drowned Catacombs
8 Island
8 Swamp
[/lands]
[/deck]

Admittedly, I have no idea how to build this one, but feels like something to explore if this type of deck suits you. The next set might also bring in something interesting.
