Oath of the Gatewatch Brews, pt. 5 – Colorless Aggro

I’ve seen some attempts at this already without OGW and they seem fine, but somewhat lacking. But OGW brings plenty of new tools, some of which might fly under the radar, because they aren’t splashy mythics.

That French one’s unofficial translation reads:

Dimensional Infiltrator
Devoid (This card has no color.)

Flash, flying

1◊: Exile the top card of target opponent’s library. If it’s a land card, you may return Dimensional Infiltrator to its owner’s hand.

That activated ability is nice every once in a while, but not really needed. Its very strong without that ability.

Yes, these brews will appear like good draft decks, like they like to joke on coverage, but there’s a reason why those decks appear from time to time. They might not have the most powerful cards, but they are synergistic enough work under certain circumstances.

First, I’ve played some red-black aggro in this current standard and I like it. Its my style of deck, so lets see what we can do with that first.

[deck title=BR Devoid Aggro]
4 Reaver Drone
4 Forerunner of Slaughter
4 Dominator Drone

2 Swarm Surge
4 Wild Slash
4 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wooded Foothills

Maybe blue-red is better… Although, it will be slower.
