Shadows over Innistrad Brews, pt. 17 – BG All-In Delirium

Of course, Jace, Vryn’s Prodigy would be good here, but assuming we’re not all made of money (I am, sort of, but even I’m not willing to put a that much money into them), so let’s call this a budget version, although I’m not sure Jace would make this that much better. Besides, Jace isn’t taking space from actual fun cards.

This is also for those of us, who miss the constant shuffling of fetches. If there is someone like that out there.

My limit for playable cards might be a bit wider than that of most people, so I’ll just list all the delirium cards I’m considering here:

Traverse the UlvenwaldDeathcap CultivatorMindwrack DemonAutumnal GloomTo the Slaughter
Inexorable BlobKindly StrangerMoldgraf ScavengerSoul Swallower

Sure, the Soul Swallower is an intro pack rare, but so were Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Drowner of Hope, so you never know… Although, I’m not even going to try it here.

One other card I’m advocating is Sinister Concoction. Seems decent. Maybe try Murderous Compulsion with it? Although getting to use both at the same time doesn’t seem very probable. Might happen sometime, but Compulsion seems a bit awkward in a world with Always Watching and Sylvan Advocate… Anyhow, Concoction is an enchantment and does a lot to help with delirium. I’m putting Hangarback Walker in for the same reason. Also, if we are self-milling, why not play the classic megamorph package?

I haven’t made any calculation on how easy delirium is to achieve in this deck, but it might be a bit on the low side, as there is only two artifacts and only one instant, but the self-mill does help. The deck probably requires some work in this regard, but on the other hand, it does work without it. Its just better if you can
