It feels like there’s definitely a Golgari deck of some sort in there. Back in the day the idea was that The Rock (early name for Golgari) would have like 45% against everything. I think the current philosophy enables quite a bit more.
I mean, the combination of [scryfall]Midnight Reaper[/scryfall] and [scryfall]Beast Whisperer[/scryfall] seems pretty good. Throw in a [scryfall]Underrealm Lich[/scryfall] and you already have a pretty good curve of good midrange creatures, even if [scryfall]Beast Whisperer[/scryfall] will sometimes do nothing. I’m going to throw in a [scryfall]Dryad Greenseeker[/scryfall] for extra value.
So, how about this:
[deck]
[creatures]
4 Thorn Lieutenant
2 Dryad Greenseeker
4 Midnight Reaper
4 Jadelight Ranger
4 Beast Whisperer
4 Underrealm Lich
[/creatures]
[spells]
2 Vraska, Relic Seeker
4 Assassin’s Trophy
4 Vraska’s Contempt
2 Cast Down
[/spells]
[lands]
4 Woodland Cemetery
4 Overgrown Tomb
4 Evolving Wilds
7 Swamp
7 Forest
[/lands]
[/deck]
