This is an actual deck, but it does lose certain parts of it, namely [scryfall]Thraben Inspector[/scryfall], [scryfall]Needle Spires[/scryfall] and possibly some other cards, but the core of the deck should still be there. But how about if we go a little bigger and find ourselves a new set of drivers, because everyone loves a dinosaur piloting an airship? Right?
The core of the deck is going to look pretty much the same as before.
Thusfar Ixalan seems pretty underpowered. We haven’t seen those efficient constructed cards that bring about top-down decks. It seems to be more about finding synergies, but I also feel that the Hour of Devastation environment is pretty hostile to synergy decks. At least vehicles has the benefit of being able to dodge sorcery speed removal somewhat. Then again, now there’s an instant speed wrath for white.
More artifacts would be pretty necessary to turn on [scryfall]Toolcraft Exemplar[/scryfall], so I’ll put in something like [scryfall]Renegade Map[/scryfall] just to help with that, even if that’s pretty awkward. [scryfall]Captain Lannery Storm[/scryfall] might help as well, but that’s only turn three. Maybe we should just give up on the Exemplars? Maybe we could find other benefits for Revolt or Improvise to have an actual use for the Maps?
