So, I made some changes to the Ultimate Sacrifice Event Deck and went to another test run with it.
Well, I went out and did play with the deck in an FNM and I think my results are pretty conclusive: Not powerful enough to win, but fun enough to play.
There’s no Standard Event in Tampere this week, so I can’t do my usual test run with the deck in an FNM. I’ll do that next week and write a report. However, since this thing seems to interest people, I’ll write about it right now.
Again, some thoughts on the deck and a tournament report from an FNM.
As usual, I bought the event deck and took it out for a spin.
As is the tradition (I guess third time makes it a tradition, right? Right?), I didn’t just look at the list of the Modern Event Deck, but went out and played it in a real environment.
I decided not to wait until the next time I had a chance to play in a Modern FNM. Since there’s a local bar that runs events every Monday, and it happened to be Modern this week, it was an easy decision to join. Its pretty much the same crowd I’d see in a Modern FNM in our town anyhow.
I saw a couple openings of the Born of the Gods Event Deck. So, they were informative on the contents and did throw around a couple of suggestions, but to me, that’s not a real review. So, I bought the deck and took it out for a spin today at the FNM.
