A more convoluted version of this. For whatever reason, I’ve been thinking about this and came up with both Naya and Bant versions, both based on copying effects.
These are very casual. I don’t think these could be tuned enough to work in standard. On the other hand, I never do see the really great combos, so how would I know?
This time I’m going for Bant, because of these:
I’m not sure which way to go exactly, because of awkward mana. I’m guessing Mercurial Pretender is the right way to go, though. Although, I could see any of these being the key to making this work.. and actually, since I like Artisan of Forms more, I’ll go with that.
Six targeting effects might not be enough and we have the option to put some Treasure Cruises here as well. The benefit of the six targetting effects is that they each give +1/+1 counters as well, so they start the cascade nicely.
Naya, because red has its own copying effects. These are going to be harder to use, because they last only until end of turn, but it doesn’t matter, because this is all about one-shotting anyhow.
